OUR FOUNDER

Swimwear designed to fit every stage.

Because Lauren had to live it first.

Lauren yerkes

Founder, POST SWIM

POST SWIM was founded by Lauren Yerkes after navigating her own breast cancer journey and the complicated relationship many women have with their bodies after surgery. With over 20 years in the fashion industry, Lauren set out to reimagine swimwear through a more thoughtful, inclusive lens—designing pieces that adapt to women at every stage, with options for scar coverage, flat closure, reconstruction, or simply personal preference, without sacrificing style or comfort.

Rooted in lived experience and built with intention, POST SWIM exists to support real bodies, on their own terms.

LAUREN'S STORY

Lauren’s path to founding POST SWIM began with her own struggle to find swimwear that felt both comfortable and flattering, while still providing thoughtful coverage for post-surgical scars. What started as a personal search quickly became a deeper realization: there was a need for swimsuits that didn’t ask women to adjust themselves to the product, but instead adapted to them.

At the heart of POST SWIM is a simple intention—to design beautiful swimwear that gives women the freedom to choose the coverage and support they want and need, while feeling confident in moments that can otherwise feel vulnerable.

Lauren’s Go-To Styles

The pieces I wear most, depending on how I’m feeling.

The Kim Top & Tam Bottom

"This is my go-to for days I’m more active or not feeling my best. It covers implant rippling, protects my mastectomy scars, and lets me move through the day without overthinking my body."

The Lauren One PIece

"Yes, it’s named after me, but I wear it because it makes me feel fully supported. The high neckline gives me coverage and peace of mind, while the low back keeps it feminine and confident."

The Lolo Halter Top & Mariella Bikini Bottom

"This is what I reach for when I’m feeling really confident. It still covers implant rippling and protects my scars, but with a sexier fit that reminds me I can feel both strong and beautiful."
