Why Sugar Pink, why October
Every October the world turns pink. We wanted our pink to do more than show up.
Triple-negative breast cancer is the kind I had. It doesn't respond to the hormone therapies that work for many other breast cancers, so research and real support matter so much. The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation funds that research and stands beside women and families facing a TNBC diagnosis. That's why this month, 30% of every Sugar Pink sale goes to them.
My story
I spent twenty years in fashion, the last of them as Chief Merchandising Officer at REVOLVE, deciding what women would want to wear next.
Then, at 37, I was diagnosed with stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer. I had seven months of treatment, a feeding tube and then a double mastectomy and reconstruction. On November 11, 2022, I was declared cancer-free. The next summer, we planned a trip to Maui.
I couldn't find a swimsuit. Or at least not one I wanted to wear.
So I made one. We launched POST SWIM on April 7, the day I was diagnosed, because I wanted that date to mean something new.

It's a type of breast cancer that doesn't have the three receptors (estrogen, progesterone and HER2) that many treatments target. That makes it harder to treat, and it's why research funding matters.

Mastectomy styles are built to support prosthesis wearers, reconstruction, and implants, often with a bra shelf or pocket. Most flat-friendly styles skip the built-in cup entirely for a smooth, comfortable fit with nothing to shift or gape. Many women mix and match based on how they feel day to day.
Completely normal to feel unsure here, especially if your size has shifted since surgery. Start with our size chart and go with your current measurements over what you used to wear. Reference each product for details on true sizing recommendations.
This one's really between you and your surgeon — everybody heals on a different timeline. Once you're cleared for regular activity and swimming, we're here with suits designed to make that first swim feel good.
You have 5 days after delivery to request a return or exchange. Items need to be unworn, unwashed, with tags and the hygienic liner intact. Exchanges for a different size or color ship with no extra fee; returns for a refund have a $5 per-item restocking fee, and original shipping isn't refundable. Sale items are final sale.
